I'm a self-taught, published photographer with over 35 years of experience shooting both analog and digital portraiture, music and events, and documentary and environmental photography with interests in conceptual, experimental, and fine art photography, traditional and alternative process techniques, color theory, and digital design.

Specialized in covering local and national music, concerts, festivals, and events, my past assignments and clients include Yamaha Guitars, Viacom (MTV/VH1), The Hype Magazine, Pinpoint Music, the Austin American Statesman and Austin360.com (Cox Communications), SXSW, ACL Festival, Austin Film Festival, ATX Television Festival, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Austin Urban Music Festival, Austin Reggae Fest, Psych Fest, Maverick Music Festival, Old Settler's Music Festival, and Do512.

My work has been published digitally and in print in the Boston Globe, The New York Times, NY Daily News, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera America, E! Online, PopSugar, TV Guide, People Magazine, Variety, IndieWire, Entertainment Weekly, FF2 Media, Fan Bolt, Tell-Tale TV, Austin American Statesman, XL Entertainment, Austin360, Austin Music+Entertainment, Austin Chronicle, and Austin Monthly.

I'm a current member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), and a contributing photographer to Getty/WireImage.

I've established successful professional working relationships with some of the top Marketing, Public Relations, and Event Productions firms and entertainment venues in and outside of Austin, including the Austin Film Festival, SXSW, Emmis Communications (KLBJ Flashback Prom) and Viacom. I am also a proud supporter of HAAM, Project Transitions, Austin Free-Net, SafePlace, local music and the arts.

When I'm not in the photo pit I can be found rediscovering the Austin scene with my cameras, good friends, and my righteous and veracious English Bulldogs.
